Czechia celebrating 20 years of togetherness in EU

Czechia celebrate 20 years since joined the EU family. On May 1, 2004, the European Union experienced its greatest expansion by a total of 10 countries, including the Czech Republic. The enlargement of the EU 20 years ago brought prosperity not only to the 10 new member states, but the entire European community benefited from it. 20 years ago, Czechia chose future in the form of cooperation, solidarity and peace. The EU has become their natural living space that provides security, growth and prosperity. Czechia continues to support further expansion of the EU, and they are ready to share their experience and help in the integration process.
